Brompton Marathon Places Left

Registration for the World Championship and Brompton Sprint sold out incredibly quickly; if you are keen to get involved in the Brompton weekend but haven't signed up yet, places for the Brompton Marathon are still available. The Marathon promises to be an enjoyable 26 mile spin through the Cotswold countryside, giving you enough time to make it back in time to see the BWC and enjoy some well earned afternoon tea with the rest of the team. Take a look at the video of the course to get you going and register now!

If you aren't interested in participating, there is still plenty to get invovled with. Andrew Ritchie, the inventor of the Brompton folding bike, will be holding a Q&A session on the Saturday afternoon, at 4pm in the Brompton marquee. There will be a fastest fold challenge running all weekend and roller racing on Saturday.

Following a successful opening of the Brompton Dock in Manchester Piccadilly in April the team at our sister company have recently launched a new dock in Stoke-on-Trent and this week unveil another in Ealing, west London. The network is set to increase further this year; useful should you ever be in a town or city without your Brompton or to get that friend or colleague out on a ride with you. If you would like to be kept up to date with news and offers from the Dock team please sign up to their mailing list.

London Cycling Camapign

Despite the drizzle a number of the Brompton team made it out to join 10,000 other riders on The Big Ride supporting the 'Love London Go Dutch' campaign in April. The team at LCC continue to push the mayor on cycling issues in our home city and we are hopeful that the progress made in recent years continues to be built upon.

It's Showtime!

In the next couple of months we will be attending a couple of shows. Eurobike at the end of August and Interbike in September. We are hoping to have a few new things to show off by then so keep your ear to the ground around that time.

Small Wheels Big Difference

At Brompton HQ we often hear stories of impressive feats and big rides that people have achieved on their Brompton. One that has caught our eye of late is Small Wheels Big Difference who took on Lands End to John O'Groats with 34 riders getting involved (9 from start to finish) and raising £30k along the way. Read more about their story.
