The old iPod is in fact under the full control of my son Munir.I am glad he liked it so much that he listens everyday to his music. I am grateful to note that he also used iPod to guide him to read the Qur'an.Ask any father, he will usually smile from ear to ear to know and see his children reading Qur'an. Now, I felt that I have all the reasons in the whole wide world to buy myself a video iPod... Now, I am waiting for new softwares to allow me to download and read text on my iPod and another apps that could do video conversions.In the mean time,I will enjoy using my iPod for the my photos,listening to podcasts and music.

Today I have used up my first cahier M notebook.I have written 62 pages since 15/2/2006. From now on, I will be writing in my real Moleskine Notebook. Three days ago,I bought three pieces of squared cahier M notebooks.I gave one copy IO and one to Bubba. I keep one for me-just in case I finish the real M squared notebook before the stock arrive in KL.

I tried to use a software and a fax line via Digi.But it has many hurdles. My next alternative is to use my iBook and my house phone number.It works fine.

Today,I attended the gathering of GPS usergroup at Lotus Nasi Kandar restaurant next to Nikko Hotel.I was impressed by the menbers' enthusiasm and efforts taken to update their maps.The photo above shows Arsyan Treo650 being used as a reader of data from the GPS receiver sitting next to it. My first question: Is my iBook compatible with their GPS maps? No one has the answer.

I am not confident of doing myself, so I seeked the help a friendly shopkeeper who sells iPod,mac and pda's...He is quite confident of himself and so am I. Time taken is about 45 minutes and it worked fine except I lost my calendar/datebook data.Before I went to see the friendly shopkeer,I called Bubba,one of the palm pda's sifus in my palmx community and he advised me to keep two copies of my data-0ne in the computer and the other in the SD card of my Treo650. And this I did and I am glad that I followed his advice. After installing the 1.20 version, my friendly shopkeeper synced with my iBook.I just watched because he is very experience in this type of work.After my Treo650 was synced, he got a shock because calendar and contact data in my Treo! Then I realised but it was too late...Previously, my sync default was my Treo 650 will override my iBook. I kept cool but a tinker of regret of making the decision to upgrade my phone firmware. Today,at last I made the first entry to my first ever moleskine notebook which I bought on the 4th Feb., 2006.I only managed to buy the squared type and the ruled type is out of stock.It contains the summary of business discussion for a project.Previously,I was using Cahier notebook as a start because I am not sure whether I really wanted to use moleskine notebook my personal and business record. From my short experience of using these moleskine products,I prefer ruled version for personal entries and the squared version for business entry.The blank for some creative works.Cahier,IMHO, is good for specific projects.

The time has arrived for me to get into GPS.It is more than one year since I got to know about this device from Dr Azmi,one of our palmx egroup moderators. After some 'serious deliberations' among my techinical advisors,I decided to buy Garmin 60CS-either with an X or without,depending on the price.Kamarul is on the way to Singapore and is willing to buy first for me. Thank you very much to KA for your kindness and trust in me. Later on, I hope to use this for my business in project management as well as for my hobby.
